A family name is not a specification
Neutrik has several generations of powerCON connectors. Current ratings, environmental conditions and breaking capacity depend on the specific version. Do not transfer TRUE1 characteristics to every powerCON.
Protection applies in specified conditions
For NAC3FPX-TOP, the manufacturer specifies IP65 in the prescribed combination, mated or with the cap closed. An open, incorrectly assembled or damaged connection is a different situation.
Specify the complete assembly
Provide part numbers for both ends, the required cable and environment. An electrician verifies conductor sizing, protection and installation. This guide is not a mains-connector wiring tutorial.
