The difference is in the wall.

Both systems have a 290 × 290 mm cross-section and 50 mm main tubes. FT uses a 2 mm wall; HT uses 3 mm.

HT has a 50% thicker main tube wall. This is not a percentage increase in load capacity. Permitted loads must be checked against the chart for the system, span and load arrangement.
