Safety systems.
Details that matter.

Three mechanisms in ULK towers. Each has a specific role in locking or releasing mast sections.

ASB

Section locking.

Automatic safety locks hold mast sections in their working position.

IPB

Internal protection.

The pendulum brake activates if a mast section drops unexpectedly.

MSU

Brake release.

Levers release the internal pendulum brake without dismantling the tower.
