Neutrik etherCON is a rugged locking RJ45 system for professional audio, video and lighting networks. The housing alone does not tell you whether it carries Dante, Art-Net or another protocol.

Cable category, connectors, length and device ports must suit the application. Different generations of housings and receptacles are not automatically mechanically compatible. Check both ends’ markings.
Clear labels save time
Label cable purpose and destination. For network diagnosis, record device address, protocol and port. A link indicator confirms a physical connection, not necessarily correct control data.
