A rating has conditions
A declared rating applies to the specified configuration and loading arrangement. GUIL lists 1200 kg/m² for TM440. That is not the permitted mass on every castor, piano leg or individual part of the surface.
Follow the load path
Load travels through the surface, frame and supports into the ground. A small wheel concentrates force over a small area. Total mass and layout therefore need to be considered alongside ground and support conditions.
A learning example
Two objects of equal mass do not load a deck identically if one has a broad base and the other four narrow wheels. Include contact dimensions and equipment movement in your brief instead of simply multiplying area by kg/m².

No. Use the declared working rating and manufacturer conditions.
Does one model’s rating apply to another?
No. The TM440 example does not transfer to TM300, TM440XL or another system.
