Light needs control
A laser beam can pose hazards to eyes and skin. Safety also includes mounting, electrical installation, reflections and access. An attractive effect is not evidence of safe exposure.
The audience is not a test surface
Projection into an audience requires specialised design, measurement and expertise. A software power limit or the presence of a safety device alone does not demonstrate safe exposure for a particular setup.
Involve a responsible operator
Agree documented zones, an emission-stop procedure and monitoring. Outdoor projection also requires consideration of airspace and local requirements. ILDA and Pangolin provide specialist guidance; this introduction does not authorise a show.
